✨ Key Highlights
🩵 Flower Beauty
The 'Admiral' rose captivates with its dark, mysterious aesthetic. Emerging from tight, almost black buds, the petals unfurl to reveal gigantic 4.7 to 5.5-inch blooms packed with thick, velvety ruby-red petals. The deep folds and plush texture create alternating shadows and highlights, giving each bloom an unmatched depth of color. Its regal cup shape and dramatic black-red gradient make it an undeniable showstopper in both garden beds and floral arrangements.

🌸 Bloom Performance
Boasting remarkable repeat-blooming energy, 'Admiral' flowers reliably in multiple flushes from late spring through late autumn. Its thick, upright stems easily carry the weight of these extra-large, multi-petaled blossoms without drooping. In addition to high garden production, the firm, non-shattering petals give 'Admiral' an extraordinary vase life of up to 10 days, making it one of the premier fragrant red cut roses available.   🌿 Garden Performance
Forming a neat, sturdy upright shrub reaching 2.5 to 4.0 feet in height, 'Admiral' fits naturally into formal rose gardens, cottage borders, and container layouts. Its dark green, semi-glossy, leathery foliage offers a striking contrast that highlights the rich ruby-red blooms. Whether planted as a dramatic solo specimen or grouped along garden pathways, it provides consistent structure and continuous color.

 ☀️ Plant Strengths
Unlike many older dark red roses that struggle with disease, 'Admiral' demonstrates outstanding modern health and vigor. It exhibits strong resistance to common fungal diseases such as powdery mildew and black spot. The plant holds up well under summer heat, maintaining strong growth and healthy foliage. Rated for USDA Hardiness Zones 5 through 10, it withstands cold winters down to -20°F when well established.

It satisfies gardeners who crave the vintage allure of dark velvet roses without high-maintenance hassles. With its long-lasting cut blooms and powerful perfume, 'Admiral' brings luxury, elegance, and unforgettable aroma straight into your home and garden.
