🩷アプリコット、切れ込み弁咲き、中大輪房咲きの花。ティにミルラとパウダーの中香。
四季咲き性。樹勢は普通だが耐病性はとても強い、木立樹形のバラ。切り花向き。トゲは普通。うどんこ病にとても強く黒星病にもとても強い。
細かなことを気にしなければ無農薬で十分育てられる、今までのバラの常識を超えた画期的なバラ。樹高がやや高め、ガーデンなら半ばから後方に。直立樹形なので比較的狭い場所にも植えられる。
名前の由来は、小説「秘密の花園」に登場する老ガーデナーから。

🩷This rose has apricot-colored, deeply cut petals, with medium to large cluster blooms. It has a medium fragrance with hints of myrrh and powder. It is a repeat-blooming variety. The growth is average, but it has very strong disease resistance, with a shrub-like form. It is suitable for cut flowers, and the thorns are average. It is highly resistant to powdery mildew and black spot disease.

If you don't mind some minor details, it can be grown without pesticides, a revolutionary rose that surpasses traditional rose cultivation knowledge. The tree is slightly tall, making it suitable for planting in the middle or rear of a garden. Its upright growth habit also makes it ideal for narrower spaces.

The name comes from an old gardener in the novel The Secret Garden.
