✨ Key Highlights
🩵 Flower Beauty
Clematis 'Sea Breeze' captivates the senses with its extraordinarily serene and refreshing color palette. Spanning 4 to 5 inches across, each blossom features 4 to 6 broad, slightly wavy-edged petals in a soft sky-blue to pale lavender-blue hue. A subtle lighter bar runs down the center of each petal, framed by a prominent cluster of soft yellow anthers. This light, airy coloration creates an uplifting, cool-toned visual focal point that brightens up warm summer landscapes.

🌸 Bloom Performance
Belonging to the distinguished late large-flowered group, 'Sea Breeze' is engineered for extraordinary seasonal stamina. Producing flowers exclusively on new summer shoots, this vigorous vine bursts into bloom in early summer and maintains a continuous procession of fresh flowers right into early autumn. The plant continually pushes out new flowering stems, ensuring your trellis or container remains covered in color for months.

🌿 Garden Performance
With a compact, well-behaved habit reaching 4 to 6 feet in height, 'Sea Breeze' offers exceptional versatility for modern vertical landscape design. It twines gracefully around garden obelisks, short wooden trellises, wrought-iron fences, and balcony railings. Its compact footprint makes it an ideal candidate for patio container gardening, allowing urban growers to enjoy cool blue blooms at eye level.

☀️ Plant Strengths
Built with excellent winter resilience down to USDA Zone 4 (-30°C / -22°F), 'Sea Breeze' easily withstands freezing winter chills and rebounds with rapid new growth every spring. Its Group III classification makes seasonal care virtually mistake-proof—a quick hard cut in late winter resets the plant for a lush new season. When provided with cool roots and well-draining soil, it exhibits reliable disease resistance and strong vigor.

Clematis 'Sea Breeze' is an indispensable choice for patio gardeners, urban balcony owners, and lovers of cool-toned botanical aesthetics. Its soothing sky-blue blooms offer high-end garden elegance paired with remarkably straightforward maintenance. Hardy, continuous-blooming, and perfectly scaled for small spaces, this exquisite selection transforms ordinary pots and trellises into tranquil summer retreats.

🌿 Growing Note
• Sunlight: Position where upper vines receive full sun to partial shade (at least 6 hours of light daily), while maintaining a cool, shaded root system using mulch, flat stones, or low groundcover plants.
• Soil: Thrives in deep, rich, organic, well-draining soil with a neutral to slightly alkaline pH.
• Watering: Maintain regular, deep watering during active growth and warm summer spells; ensure soil drains properly to support healthy root development.
• Fertilizing: Feed with a balanced slow-release fertilizer in early spring as new shoots emerge, followed by organic compost or liquid bloom booster during summer blooming.
• Pruning: Follow Group III pruning guidelines—in late winter or early spring, cut back all previous year's stems to about 12 inches (30 cm) above ground level, just above a pair of strong, healthy buds.
